Manchester United Set to Secure Germany Striker Lea Schüller from Bayern Munich
The Women's Super League club are on the verge of sealing the deal for prolific Germany forward Lea Schüller on a permanent transfer from the Frauen-Bundesliga champions.

Schüller, who has six months left on her deal, has been a consistent goalscorer for both club and country. Having netted over 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 caps for Germany. Her arrival is viewed as a major signing for the Women’s Super League side.
Departure from Munich has been anticipated after she was seen holding back emotions while applauding the German club’s supporters following a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently.
It was reported in late December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was set to lose one of its leading strikers. According to multiple sources, all the paperwork for the move are now finalised.
Reliable Goalscoring to Boost the Forward Line
The 28-year-old’s arrival is expected to provide a significant uplift to the team's forward line. She has been remarkably reliable with her finishing in Germany’s top flight.
- For seven consecutive seasons, up to and including the last term, she achieved at least a double-digit tally of league goals.
- She won the top scorer award in the 2021-22 season with a haul of 16 goals.
