The young golfer will have plenty of well-known backers as she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates several golf courses and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He essentially suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions recently and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He is the best player worldwide," Kai stated.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to go out there, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai brings golf to wider groups, especially reaching youth audiences.

The young star has a massive following and has started her own fashion and living brand.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
