Two Charged Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Incident

Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a believed to be irritant spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A young child was one of the people hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and not considered a terror-related act – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
